2401 Winding Road
The dedication ceremony for the completion of House 47 will be Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 2:30PM. Come celebrate with the Yeager family as they prepare to take ownership of their new home.
From downtown Parkersburg take Route 50 East, pass the Route 77 overpass, and then turn left onto Red Hill Road (1 mile past the 77 Interchange). Turn onto Winding Road (off of Red Hill), passing the following landmarks:
- Spider Ridge Road (which bears to the left) at 1.3 miles past Red Hill Road;
- Winding Road Kennel at 2.0 miles;
- A sharp left turn in the road at 2.2 miles.
Stay on Winding Road for a total of 2.5 miles. The house site is on the left, and the Habitat house sign is just before the entrance to the site. Turn left into the gravel driveway, following it past the horse barn, where the driveway veers to the left – then follow the driveway to where it ends – at the house site.
